I may not be so active in the forum, but I try my best to keep up with the discussions. I must say, what a wonderful idea. There, I've posted my silly picture. Swervedriver may not be well-known round here in Brazil, but I'm a genuine fan. Swerve forever, fellas. |

Eugene, that is funny, I seem to be living upto my signiture in those pictures! That first one was taken on our honeymoon in Dublin Ireland. I think that was at the Jameson Distilery Heritage Center. The last one is at home after a nice Saturday evening dinner. I love to cook almost as much as I love music!
I have nothing but respect for your decision, that takes strenght to do! Congradulations! |

Your the only south american buriol, but in fact the third southern hemispherian.
Geno how are we going to have that pint if youre on the wagon? You might have to pack your portable vapourizer. |

Yeah, talked about messed up timing Crozza...I would have loved to do that (in my former way of life), but...well, we'll still get to hang, and I am still great fun (I think). Don't know about bringing the vap along...not with the customs, etc....Next thing you know you'll be getting a collect call from Geno at the Sydney jail.

| Yeah Eugene, that's my favourite one too. We REALLY should have a collective jam, I am sick of playing all those Swervie's tunes all by myself. Most people round here have never heard about Swervedriver at all. They're all into those strange pseudo-rock bands...Too bad. |

| Posted my pic tonight - but it's under the OTHER online name I go under on blogs, Scott12XU. I didn't catch the mistake until it was too late. Hopefully, you knew who it was anyway. The pic of me between the Laurel & Hardy lookalikes was taken in October at the Laurel & Hardy festival in Harlem, Georgia (Hardy's birthplace). The Laurel & Hardy museum there is pretty nice (tho small - the museum was the town's former post office). |

| I live in Minas Gerais, right in the middle of the southeast region here, in the state capital, Belo Horizonte. It's one of Brazil's biggest towns. If you ever come around here, I'll be glad to show you around, plus we could have some nice jam sessions, I've got my own personal studio in my house, I just don't have enough people to jam with. The drumkit is getting dusty, I can't play them drums. Strings are my game. |

| I just noticed, our Swervie Frappr site can be viewed by the whole world. As you know there are a bunch of other Frappr groups. We can add a blurb on the band and attach a photo. Need your help. Would someone write a great paragraph about the importance of SWD...aside from the fact that they were one of the greatest bands of all fucking time, maybe include something about their evolution, and place in the history of rock music, and send it to me with a JPG of the lads so I can stick it up there for the world to see. I have the Admin thingie with our frappr site apparently. I can write one also, but I'd like to get some different slants...maybe put together a piece that's a pastiche of different views. So, go ahead and send it to me at my personal Email with a great band photo if you have one, or Email me here...it gets forwarded to my Email. Big thanks. |

could be wunnathemnites tonight. Brooks' pic with red wine in hand is the 2nd red wine reference for the day so far and I just happened to check the work lunchroom fridge to see how many VBs are in there.....
tho i must say, about the only aussie beer i'm into these days (aside from a few expensive premium brands like Boags) is Carlton Premium Dry (which is a relatively cheap $30-odd per carton... thankfully there's a few of them in there... by the way, the bottle below is empty... it's not a CLEAR beer, tho that'd be kinda rad to drink a clear beer.

| Checkin' in here, after a bit. Man, the Canadians are startin' to take over! Now we've finally got a drummer (Jody from Moncton, New Brunswick), after the hordes of guitar players and bassists. Thank God. Time to jam, bros....my place (as soon as I unpack from all these boxes). |

| Glad to see this is still going strong. Click on again, maties...they have improved the Frappr with an automatic slide show. Warm hellos to all Swervies out there. Feel free to crash at my place if you're ever travelling through the DC area. Conditions: you must not have body odor, and you must share (your women, stash and beer....heh heh)...kiddin' kiddin...ol' Uncle E is just kiddin'. |

Added to the swervie map in Japan.
I've been a fan of swervedriver since Raise came out. I rediscovered them about five years after Raise. By then they were close to finished I guess but that only meant I had more albums to catch up on. I've never tired of them. In fact lately I have been listening to Swervedriver more than ever. Just need to find some Toshack Highway cd's now.

| Welcome, Tyson. All the way from Japan...how cool. I believe Toshack is easily available from all the "standard" places like Amazon, and also through the Toshack site. There are downloads there, and you can link to their MySpace page on the main page of this site. |

keep dreaming. That aint gonna happen. Expect Beacon Theater again or if god forbid Bowery Presents gets their hands on this then Interminable 5. It will probably though be at Beacon, United Palace, Wamu or Radio City depending on which promoter gets it. ============================== Thomson Addiction Rehabs |
