I'll put all the reviews I get in this place so please send any you find.

"Due out June 29th on Second Motion, I Could Sleep for a Thousand Years is one album that should stay in your playlist’s rotation for the remainder of the year, if not nine hundred ninety-nine more."

"Even without the guitar-driven sturm und drang, this would be one of 2010's prettiest pop records. With it, it's something else altogether stronger, more dramatic and more affecting."

"Former Swervedriver frontman Franklin returns to working with a full band after a decade of acoustic solo work. This isn't as noisy and rocked-out as Swervedriver, but nonetheless boasts Franklin's unerring melodic sense and a definite fuzzy, shoegaze atmosphere. If you miss Creation Records, you'll enjoy this."

"The most exciting aspects of this disc are certainly its manic moments. “I’ll Be Yr Mechanic,” a spaghetti-western-tinged nugget, stands toe to toe with Swervedriver’s best early-’90s output, even though the majority of the material here feels like a logical extension of the band’s swan-song, 99th Dream. Nestled somewhere between the feel of Big Star and Sonic Youth “Sleep” is a perfect balance of sweet harmonies and breezy guitars, that was prevelant on 2009’s critically acclaimed Spent Bullets, but is by far Franklin’s most accomplished work yet.

...I Could Sleep for a Thousand Years being Franklin’s most fully realized solo effort to date. Seductively cool, loud and pretty, soft and spaced-out, yet very approachable, it’s everything that’s to be expected of this uniquely gifted songwriter and musician.

I Could Sleep for a Thousand Years actually fuses the two sounds well — sweet harmonious melodies and amorphous six-string sprawl.

It’s hard not to measure Franklin by his prior successes, but when he lives up to it, why not?

With Swervedriver, Adam Franklin had an eight-year run spinning out dreamy textures of distorted guitar that, however, loud they might turn in live performance, had an unruffled serenity to them.

One of BlackSwanSongs.com all-time favorite artists, Adam Franklin (Swervedriver, Magnetic Morning) continues his prolific run with a new Adam Franklin and the Bolts of Melody album entitled I Could Sleep For A Thousand Years

Anyway, I COULD SLEEP FOR A THOUSAND YEARS sees Franklin doing what he does best, creating shearing melodic guitar rock. Not as slicing as the Swervedriver material, no, this is a bit more laid back and melodic but no less quality.
