Well, sorta. Imma throw back a couple, but only a couple. I already gave my dudes the speech about there being no shots, and no silicon boobies. It's just not my speed. Besides, if my energy was depleted anymore than it already is, I'd just morph into an actual pile of mud. How can something that supposed to be so great, be such a pain in the ass to plan for? Sigh...

Thanks to everyone regardless! I'll be happy when I'm on a plane headed to San Fran, drink in hand, and Bolts of Melody in the headphones.

You poor bastard. Congratulations!

Interloper - congrats my man! That's cool news - I was wonderin' when you'd ever go down (the isle).
I totally know what you mean with the stress and planning duties insanity!
As much of a pain as it is to plan a wedding, it is all over so quickly - the day itself will be incredible and it's really cool having all of your friends and family there giving you all of their attention and support. One day in the future you might even look back at your wedding day with fond memories - I do.

But - the honeymoon IS clearly the best part of the whole deal!

Anyway - Congratulations!

Thanks a lot lads. It was great of course. I had the token drunk ass groomsman, and at one point, was actually hiding from the photographer. All in all though, it was pretty fantastic. One piece of advice, if you're not married and you're gonna get married, keep it as simple as possible. I've never been more consistantly pulled around in my life.

See ya in a week.

LOPERO! All the best my friend! I missed all the build up to that little gem. I knew you were getting closer to your girl, moving in a stuff, but to then quietly add you are getting married TOMORROW, that was cool man if not cold to your swervy mates! I hope its a blast all round dude.

Rocket introd me to Schooled In Victory and The Storied Northwest, Darshun. As he keeps promising his WAB5 but hasnt delivered yet i went out looking and that track was via myspace. Excellent stuff. Boomer will love it too im thinking.

I havent been listening to much stuff lately as all my listening time is being spent listening to Robert Ludlum's book, The Lazarus Vendetta. They suck me in. So, to get me out of that situation Im gonna play something from my WAB playlist now...random song of the day is...

Whooa!

Update...the Haight/Ashbury is a big, smelly overpriced mall. This does not constitute fighting the power. Amoeba records however, is totally insane.

Stay tuned.

I know... I know Croz - it's beyond the point of rediculous for sure!
I was curious if... since the artwork and stickers is my main hold up... and since everyone that sends WAB's out listens to mp3's... if I just put my 4 mixes on one mp3 disk of awesomeness if that would be cool?
What do you guys think?
I've got my WAB 5, Homegrown disk 1 and 2, and You Will Know Me By My Trail of mp3's...
One hesitation is that my buddy has an mp3 disk in his car - and his player just alphabatises the songs hence ruining the playlist order. I wonder if I would need to # the tracks temporarily for the burn or something? If I burned the disk with individual folders for each mix - I think it seems like they would burn in the correct order?
Anyone know?
I don't really have an mp3 player that I use - just my itunes player at home and work on my computers...
Otherwise I'll just burn individual disks and maybe forget the CD stickers.

I had an mp3 player in my truck and it would alpha the whole CD w/o folders. With folders it should keep the mp3s in order.

I deserve the dig, Crozdresser - I deserve the dig... In fact, as long as I've been needing to send these out, there should be a hole so deep that I could sled my way through the earth to China!

btw - I just bought the freakin' new Terra Diablo on iTunes just now! - I'm super stoked! I didn't now it was coming out - I just stumbled upon it looking through a few myspace bulletins - I could have easily missed it as often as I go to that space...
I'll get to blast my ears in the car stereo on my drive to work tomorrow - as I'm making a b-line for my bed ASAP...

An aquired taste for sure, but if you're a 70's Krautronic freak like myself, this thing is a 10. It's a live tape from 74 that's about to be released.

Oh yeah, I'm back. Hi dudes. My wedding and vacation were 100% picture perfect. However, being back to work baahhhloowwwss.

Hey everyone... hey Interloper - glad you had a great weddeymoon my man!

Today...
The Storied Northwest - Graceless
unreleased album

also - I'm all over the Swell disk that I bought over iTunes last night - thanks to a tip from Moen's WAB '06.
Swell - "Too Many Days Without Thinking" is a killer collection. Acoustic/electric/fast/slow/soft, soaring vocals - what else could I possibly ever want in music?!
nothing.
