She has a very distinctive voice. And yeah is both sweet and sorrowful.

Big Heavy Stuff - Devils Tongue. Listened to WAB playlist on fun run today. Good stuff to take mind off the pain.

Yeah my dad is really well. Had 5 dots on his liver, one as large as a tennis ball. All gone bar the big one which is squash ball sized now - looking at cutting it out although its still shrinking. Has one injection per month which makes him tired for 24 hours but then he's fine. Despite many attempts they havent found any more. His cancer has been TREATED. Thanks for the kind words tho.

Today:

BTW Has anyone seen the tv show Misfits? Funny shizen!

Nah Croz. I was just wondering if he was doing an alternative cancer treatment. I always thought that if I evern got the Big C that I would try alternative treatments. Like with with diet and vitamins. I hate most mainstream medical procedures. Some are usefull, others drain your wallet and you die broke. I hope your dad makes a full recovery my friend.

Yeah guys, my dad's not really sick at all, still works hard and all. Once a months he has his injection and is a bit tired the next day. Otherwise you'd not know. Docs said he could of had the C for 10 years prior and not known about it. Happy Days!

Speaking of which, Rocket, your big WAB you sent last with the Homegrown stuff is AWESOME. Its all Ive been listening to these holidays. Ive been reading Rant by Chuck Palanuik (Didnt you recommend this book Jeronimo?) and listening to it all in my hammock on my new deck! Deck is brilliant! So Ive found hordes of gret tracks that match the story well. Some favs:

Languis - I Forgot, I Forgot
The Horrors - Mirror's Image
Amusement Parks On Fire - Blackout
Magnet School - Xx
Mandarine - Shadow Your Shadow (Unreal!)

Agreed on Loveless. I have 2 copies of this on CD, one in the house and another that literally never comes out of my car. I listen to this album a mimimum of once a week. Granted I have a 45 minute drive each way to work, but an amazing album. I just wish they'd tour again so I can see them live.

Thick and Throwing Punches - Helmet

Both of these songs are B-sides that never got the credit they deserved. How they didnt make it to a proper release is beyond me. Great songs.

I know WWS!!! I LOVE Seasons in The Abyss! Its by far my favorite Slayer album. I think most fans would fight to the death that Reign In Blood is the best. For sure its a great album.

I like Seasons because it has more of an assortment of song styles. Very melodic indeed and HEAVY!

speaking of Slayer, i got stuck youtubing the other day watching the backstage footage from the Big 4 DVD - i was gonna buy it when it came out, but was put off cos Anthrax got back with Joey Belladonna (I love the BUSH !)

anyway, it's so cool to see all those old thrashers chatting to one another - old being the operative word ! who am i kidding tho....i'm aging just as quickly...
