Did you go see Social D wws? Man, Mike Ness is a class act. Last time I seen them he brought a bunch of kids on stage and gave them all t-shirts and pats on the head. He also stopped the concert and was gonna jump in the crowd and beat the fuck out of some douchebag who threw a beer onstage. Funny as hell!! Check it out on Youtube. Its from the Green Bay Wisconsin show,2010.

shit, you were at THAT show ? I saw the clip on youtube a few weeks back. yeah, what a wanker.

i saw them at a festival (www.soundwavefestival.com) which was SICK, then a coupla nights later at the Enmore theatre (youtube it - awesome version of Cold Feelings: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dFFg5xmrJq8 )

i'd seen them only once before in LA. my mate is good friends with Jonny 2 Bags - i once talked old guitars with him all arvo at a BBQ years ago - fun ! - so we were on the balcony at House of Blues on Sunset on a Social D table with waiter service! what a night! SO awesome. but anyway, this Enmore gig was so rad.

just a good level of drunkenness and I was-a-pogo'in all night ! or do we call it slam dancing still? no, not quite...???

Mike was totally cool at that show. good vibes all around.

fuck radio stations . . . but it was on in the showroom and i overheard it...

oh foreigners.... that band is old Aussie rock (as per the name). nothin but pop/rock. but i love em.... check their song ERROL: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gwzNN4IMyx8

WWS!!!!!! That must have been sweet to meet 2 Bags. Social D always put on a great show. Now that Ness is clean you can tell he's all about his music and fans. Thats the way it shoud be. I hate arrogant pricks on stage.

I told Croz about those Social D shows in Oz and I thought he was gonna go but he must have had a crossdressing contest to get ready for. Oh well.

Diary of a Teen Tragedy - The Smoking Popes

I love this song! Ive been a huge fan of the Popes since the mid-90s and its nice to see that they havent strayed from their successful brand of pop-punk. Great album!

The Boo Radleys - "Eleanor Everything".

I chanced upon a copy of "Ichabod and I" in a second hand shop today. I'd never heard it before but its great, apparently they weren't too happy with it and it'll probably never get reissued.

Eight - Karma To Burn

Didn't realize they released a new album last year. Digesting.

Unfortunately, I've never been a big fan of instrumental groups and while I love Karma To Burn, I still have to display a little patience.
