I think its great that AC/DC wants people to buy a copy of their album. Something that you can hold in your hand and put on your shelf. Not a bunch of information you bought from a a website that is pretty much worthless.

Who better to sell the album than Walmart? Seeing how everyone started downloading music tons of independent stores bit the dust. Including Tower Records and Sam Goody. And don't get me started with Sam Goody. Them bastards didn't help the situation by having a close to 20.00 sticker price on an album that Walmart was selling for 11.00.

I say GO AC/DC!!!!!!! SELL AS MANY CD'S AS YOU CAN. PISS ON ITUNES.

All of em' are good....I don't know why I'm so suprised that the entire fucking album is great? I hope you went to the Cleveland show Lope? I know $$$$ is tight, here too! I had to roll my pennies and collect cans for a couple of days but well worth it.

Nope, I didn't make it up there last night. I did however get through the LP at least two full times. You're right, the whole thing is great. I think it's the most psychedelic thing I've heard him do.

Is Black Ice any good guys? What about the new Metallica? I have heard a song that I thought was a new Metallica song but it was actually Rise Against. Real similar sound they have there.

The Mess Hall - Keep Walking (go cowbell!)

Black Ice is REALLY good Croz. I mean, yeah, they all sound the same for the most part, but even so, I think it's excellent.

And yeah, the new Metallica is very surprisingly pretty good. It ain't Master of Puppets, but they haven't done anything better in well over ten years. Hetfield's voice is the only thing that still bugs me.

That's a great article. Money quote: "Western capitalism might collapse but at least Young can be relied on to perform a song about either rock and roll or testicles while wearing shorts, blazer and cap."

Yeah man. The new AC/DC is pretty strong. There are a few stand out tracks but in my opinion the song "Anything Goes" has to be the weakest AC/DC song to this date. I can't imagine how they could lower themselves to this sappy crap. I swear they had Rob Thomas co-write it.

I'm not too good on the song titles on this one, but I don't have to ask which song that is. I skip it everytime before I can get 10 seconds into it.

AC/DC-"Are You Ready?"

And yes I am ready. Just scored two tickets to the AC/DC show in Chicago this Saturday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A strange turn of events. A guy at work was going to the show but his mother fell ill and had to go to the hospital. Its bittersweet. I'm happy I have the tickets but I feel miserable for him.

Man.

J-mo saw an 'essential 25 Acca songs' program on the weekend...so "For Those About to ROCK, We Salute You!" Too bad about your work-mate. All the more reason to get out there and ROCK for him as well!

also, "Let there be Rock". The show made mention of a life-size statue of Bon recently erected in West Oz. Think it was bronze (what else). Wasn't there an Aussie movie done not too long back about a small covers band who made a pilgrimage to WA in tribute on Bon Scott? Can't remember its name. It ended with the band playing on the back of a truck, bag pipes and all, while rolling into the grave yard where Bon rests.

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0316763/ Snailo this is the movie you refer to. I enjoyed it.

Good bit-

Lloyd: [after being handed a black AC/DC shirt] Do you have anything in white?
Sam: How many AC/DC shirts do you see made in white?
Lloyd: Well, it's going to be a bit hot wearing black in the desert, Sam.

'True' - Spandau Ballet. I know 'WTF', but my work mate listens to heaps of 'new wave' stuff. I may have to beat him over the head with a Back in Black cd.
