Vince Vaccaro-IN the City.

Don't know where I bumped into this, but I gotta feeling Jaymo might have something to do with it. This guy is fucking great and I can't believe he is not getting very many site hits...it's insane. I've always been a big fan of Canadiana rock; I grew up in Canada, and home grown stuff there does have a different sound. I hear a lineage from Tom Cochrane, to Matt Mays and definitely hear some of that in Vince's material.

Just feel good, jingle jangle rock...

muse - "knights of cydonia"

is anybody into this? when i first heard these dudes years ago i wrote them off as another radiohead immitator. but their last album knocked me out. love this track in particular, and the video is just brilliant! and i love the fact that this was released as a single, though it is over 6 minutes long, features a trumpet solo, has no discernable repeated chorus and sounds like a metal western soundtrack.

Brother - Alice In Chains off of the SAP EP.

Has Ann Wilson from Heart, singing back-up. Awesome song for any fan of 90's rock.

That EP is still my favorite AIC. They sound like a completely different band on that one.

One of my favorite songs...ever. Gawd what a memory. I still have an original 45 RPM with the photo cover case they were using then....worth a bit by now, I'd imagine, but I'd never part with it.
